This is the baby's first sonogram at 8 weeks. The black spot at the top is where the baby brain was set to develop. The heartbeat was 164 beats per minute. It's been equally fast with the doppler stethoscope too.
I've never been able to "see" the baby in these pictures (even my own!), but I think I can actually figure this one out! Are we looking at the baby's back, the back of the head up at the top?
If not, oh well...it's still enough to give me goosebumps :^). Cindy D.

I think you've got it. The little black spot is where the brain was set to develop (and probably has already started).
